STANDARD PLANNING
COMPANY

Company History

Standard Planning Company, an investment advisory firm registered with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, was established in 1987.  At that time, we recognized investors' need for objective financial advice without the inherent conflict of interest often found at brokerage houses and insurance agencies whose livelihood is dependent on commissions from the sale of financial products.  Since that time we have worked to expand our areas of expertise and the depth of services we can provide.

We work diligently with clients to help them define their financial goals, objectives and investment time horizons.

Bruce Holdridge is the founder and managing principal of Standard Planning Company, a financial planning and registered investment advisory firm. His career in the financial services  industry started in 1982 as an account executive with a regional full-service brokerage firm.  In 1984, he earned the designation of Certified Financial Planner (CFP).  Mr. Holdridge also started a  NASD member securities broker/dealer, B.E. Holdridge Securities, Inc. and was the Chief Financial and Operational principal of the firm until it was sold in 1993.

A frequent public speaker, Mr. Holdridge has been active in educating the investing public about the need to develop globally diversified portfolios designed to meet the individual's financial goals and objectives.
